Law & Order: SVU Season 21 Episode 2 revolves around a girl named Reagan who has no memory of her rape and has a tendency to exaggerate and make things up for attention.

Reagan wakes up after a night of drinking and partying with no memory of what happened to her. She goes to SVU and Benson takes her to the hospital for a rape kit. Benson learns that Reagan was held down and raped both vaginally and anally. Reagan also tells her that she is scared of her fiance, Richard, but when Richard comes to get her he is unsure if Reagan wants to see him and Reagan jumps into his arms.

Later, Reagan pretends Richard hit her then tells Benson she was just kidding. She proves to be a difficult witness who is constantly accusing Benson of not believing her and storms out when Benson tries to question her about some discrepancies in what she has told Benson about her past.

Benson struggles to establish rapport with Reagan and help her remember what happened to her. Reagan's half formed memories eventually lead the detectives to a plot between four men to rape Reagan.

Meanwhile, Rollins, Fin, and Benson all must share traumatic memories with a therapist as part of a training about new techniques to help victims talk, and Fin and Rollins must help with this case when they are the only detectives left at SVU.
