Hawaii Five-0 has scheduled both a return and a flashback.

As previously announced, Wo Fat will pop up again in a few weeks, forced to start from scratch after a stint in prison.

And now Executive Producer Peter Lenkov tells TV Guide that his program will delve deep into the past on an upcoming installment, airing what some could even consider a prequel to the series premiere.

"The flashbacks take place hours before the pilot began in Korea," Lenkov says. "You'll get to see McGarrett in training as a Navy SEAL. The idea is that McGarrett had actually gone into North Korea with another Navy SEAL, a man who saved his life and was killed there... We'll see what actually happened with Hesse in Korea."

Following a Monday off, Hawaii Five-0 returns next week with "Mohai."
