New Kids on the Block Reality Show: They're on a Boat!

at .

Step by step, the New Kids on the Block are re-entering all of our lives.

TV Guide Channel announced at its upfront presentation yesterday that it will air an eight-episode reality show titled Rock This Boat: NKOTB.

It will chronicle the adventures of this boy band (can we still call them that?) on board a cruise ship full of their hardcore fans. No premiere date has been set yet.

TV Guide Channel also confirmed a new family-based reality program starring Alan Thicke. Described as “a real-life modern family,” Unusually Thicke has received a 14-episode order.

The Sorrentinos is also on tap. It will feature Jersey Shore star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and his family doing... Sorrentino-type stuff.

Stacey: Do you know of any fires in this area?
Frank Kovick: There was one in ’41.
Stacey: There was one in ’41? Where?
Frank Kovick: In Sunrise.
Stacey: Sunrise…
Frank Kovick: It was huge, it destroyed most of the town.
Stacey: Really?!
Frank Kovick: Founders Day fire. They called it the “Miracle Fire” because nobody died.
