Showtime just released the key art for Penny Dreadful Season 2 - and it's both sexy and disturbing.

Considering the Gothic nature of the series and its dark themes, this key art campaign is surprisingly bright. Of course, each image reveals the characters being tormented in some way or shouting to the heavens.

From what I hear, this season the hunters become the hunted.

Did you notice one main character is suspiciously absent from this poster campaign? In the same way "the creature" was not included in the first season's marketing, Brona (or "the bride") has not be included this time around. Is her "look" being kept under wraps?

Will she not last long after rejecting Caliban?

Also, all roads lead to Dracula this season, right? The dark prince was the red herring of Penny Dreadful Season 1. Will he come out of the shadows to play with our vampire hunters or can we expect a more human threat this time?
