Finding Carter Canceled at MTV after Two Seasons
Carissa Pavlica at .MTV has decided to pull the plug on their drama series, Finding Carter.
The news was first announced by Zac Pullam, the actor who played Carter's brother Grant on the series, via his Twitter stream.
The series first began as a story about Carter, who had been kidnapped as a small child, being returned to her birth family and all the drama that entailed.
The further away from that original plot the storyline fell the more the ratings plunged, even after Finding Carter was granted an additional 12 episodes for a super-sized 24 installment Season 2.
The second season wrapped in December with an abortion, a beating and a fan-favorite character turning himself in for committing murder.
