Game of Thrones Season 7 Key Art: See It Here!

at .

The Night King will be making his way to Game of Thrones Season 7, and, boy, he looks scary as hell.

HBO today released a brand new poster for the highly anticipated seventh season of the fantasy drama and it gives us another eerie look at the villain.

Game of Thrones Season 7 Poster 2

The villain first appeared on Game of Thrones Season 4 Episode 10 when he turned Craster's infant son into a White Walker.

He did so with just the touch of his finger, and yes, we were scared. The above scene took place as part of Bran's visions. Should we expect the villain to haunt Bran's visions again?

Considering his most recent appearance on the show was during Game of Thrones Season 6 when Hodor died saving his friends when the elusive King descended upon the Three-Eyed Raven's tunnels.

With the endgame in sight for the show, it makes sense that we would get to see more of him now that the series is winding down.

Also, Jon Snow even mentioned that the Night King is their number one target in the wake of taking down Ramsey Bolton.

With Winter set to take over King's Landing and other places, it sure seems like we're in for some crazy battles on the season ahead.

Sadly, the series faced delays due to production demands and will premiere July 16 on HBO. That's considerably later than the show's usual April launch window.

There's no word yet on whether Season 8 will be debuting in April, but if that does wind up to be true, it would not be that bad.

Season 7 will pick up with Daenerys making her way to Westeros, while Cersei will need to have her wits about her now that she's on the Iron Throne.

We are very excited for the new season. It feels like the show has been off the air forever.

Game of Thrones Quotes

Tis a big and beautiful world. Most of us live and die in the same corner where we were born and never get to see any of it. I don't want to be most of us.
