Might we see Six Seasons and a Movie after all?

Fans shouldn't get their hopes too far up, but Deadline reports Hulu is in talks with Sony TV to produce new installments of the NBC sitcom, which was canceled earlier this month.

Negotiations are in the very early stages, but a potential deal would include creator Dan Harmon, who was fired from the show for a season and then brought back for Community Season 5.

After a bit of initial hedging, Harmon did write on his blog recently that he's open to another run of fresh episodes.

"I’m not going to be the guy that re-cancels cancelled Community," he blogged, emphasizing that he will not stand in the way of any non-NBC partnerships.
