Let the binging begin...again!

Netflix announced today that Season 2 of its Emmy-nominated drama, House Of Cards, will premiere on February 14, 2014 with all 13 episodes available on the streaming service. Starring Emmy nominees Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, the series comes from creator Beau Willimon, David Fincher and Eric Roth and follows the inside working of Washington politics and big time journalism.

Francis Gets Good News

In year 2, the Underwoods - Francis (Spacey) and Claire (Wright) - will continue their rise to power while fighting off threats from all sides. Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara) will get closer to the truth of Francis's crimes and Francis will face conflict with the President's billionaire confidante (Gerald McRaney) while Claire has to deal with the pressure of being in the spotlight.

The series also stars Mahershala Ali (Treme), Sebastian Arcelus (Person of Interest), Kristen Connolly (The Cabin in the Woods), Nathan Darrow (Rigged), Sakina Jaffrey (Definitely Maybe), Michael Kelly (The Adjustment Bureau) and Molly Parker (Deadwood). Directors in the second season include Carl Franklin (Homeland), James Foley (Glengarry Glen Ross), John David Coles (Justifed), Jodie Foster and Wright. 

Based on the BBC miniseries of the same name, the second season of House of Cards is executive produced by Fincher, Willimon, Joshua Donen, Eric Roth, Kevin Spacey, Dana Brunetti, Andrew Davies, Michael Dobbs and David Manson. The one-hour drama is produced by Donen/Fincher/Roth and Trigger Street Productions, Inc. in association with Media Rights Capital for Netflix.
