Chicago Med Season 6 Episode 10 deals with difficult choices.

Will and Choi again butt heads, this time over the best treatment for a pregnant patient. This woman is acting a surrogate for her much younger daughter, but years of alcohol abuse have left her with a heart condition that could endanger both her and the baby's life.

Choi is not comfortable with an experimental treatment that Will suggests because it's not standard protocol. Will is frustrated and Veroni agrees with Will that they should suggest it to the patient. THe patient agrees to the treatment despite opposition from Choi and her daughter.

Meanwhile, Marcel deals with a Middle Eastern patient who is reluctant to accept treatment because he doesn't have a lot of money. He needs surgery because he has been shot and could bleed out. Marcel is unable to remove the bullet and it travels to the man's liver, and the man is reluctant to wait two days for further surgery.

Michael suggests an unapproved use of one of the devices he is selling to get the bullet out, but it fails and leaves the man's life at risk.
