Law & Order: SVU Season 20 Episode 17 revolves around the rescue of a little girl found in a car trunk.

When an impatient driver loses a parking spot to someone else, he starts a fist fight with the guy. The second driver disappears when the cops show up and leaves his car behind. The cops search it and find a little girl in the trunk.

The girl, Bailey, was kidnapped from Central Park while waiting for her dad to come out of the bathroom. She says the kidnapper had a yellow scarf. He lay with her naked in bed but didn't hurt her. Her dads are upset by this revelation.

The suspect holds a bodega owner hostage with a knife when the bodega owner calls the cops to say he's seen him. Benson disarms him and he is arrested, but claims he just stole the car and Bailey doesn't ID him. Later, Bailey does ID Emerson Mauer -- the original owner of the car, but her dads don't want her to testify so the case seems dead.

Benson gets a warrant. While searching the house, the cops find a child's skull buried in the backyard.

Mrs. Mauer claims not to know anything about it. Meanwhile, the cops begin to suspect that the skull belongs to Kevin Brown, a boy who disappeared 17 years ago. But their investigation leads to a shocking twist.
