At an arraignment, Erin asks for a sidebar and tells the judge she offered a generous plea deal but the defendant turned it town. The defense lawyer says the client doesn't want it. He has three other clients, so he wants to get going.

A couple reports a burglary and say that it's awfully convenient the landord isn't here. THey think she is trying to make their lives hell so they'll move out. The landlord shows up and they start arguing. Eddie makes them stop.

Eddie questions the landlord who says she asked them to safe because Kyle is unstable and she's afraid of him. Eddie gives her her card.

SOmeone campus knocks Sean over, grabs his stuff, and runs off.

Joe and Jamie are at a bar. A drunk cop comes over. Joe says he's a Hill. Jamie wants to know what that's about. Joe says what's a Reagan? You? Jamie shoves him. Joe says want to take this outside? They go out and start beating each other up. A crowd gathers and someone records it on video.

Frank sees the video footage in the office. SId says they're just any two cops end of the day. Abigail says they were off duty and letting odd steam. Garrett says he told the media that these guys are both undercover. Frank wants them both in his office at the end of their tour.

An officr asks Danny how Sean is doing. Danny didn't know about the robbery.

Danny meets Sean on campus. Sean says he will replace the laptop. Danny says he doesn't care about that. Sean says then why are you mad. Danny says he didn't tell him. Sen has to study. Danny wants to call the professor to tell her Sean needs the exam postponed. Sean says no and also the security guard said that this happens on campus all the time. He wants Danny to drop this.

Erin is convinced the defense attorney is overworked and not explaining the consequences of turning down the deal. Anthony thinks that's good because the guy belongs in jail. Erin still doesn't feel right and wants Anthony to look into the attorney. Anthony knows the name. He's also representing the other guy in this robbery case.

Badillo has proof the landlord wasn't gone all day. Eddie believes the landolrd. Badillo thinks she's just jealous.

Danny talks to the campus police officer who says he doesn't usually call NYPD about robberies because the kids would freak out but Sean wanted them called. Danny says Sean is his son. The cop is glad he's okay.. He says Seaon is the only one who was gracious with security.

Erin talks to Marcus who says he needs to be released for his daughter but he says he's innocent and doesn't want a felony on his record. Erin says if he goes to trial he will be found guilty. Marcus says he's innocent and those weren't his drugs. The lawyer interjects he doesn't know how the drugs got in his car. Erin says she will drop the drug charges if he tells her who put the drugs in the car. The lawyer says no. Erin points out the conflict of interest and suggests that Marcus get a new lawyer.

Joe and Jamie are here to see Frank. Frank doesn't let them salute. Jamie asks for permission to speak first and Frank says denied. Joe tries to say something. Frnak tells him to zip it. He says he does not want to talk to them likke children. He says cops don't start street fights. Jamie says he's sorry. Joe said it was stupid and got out of hand. Frank doesn't accept that excuse. He says any two cops that did this would get a choice. He could take their shields but that would mean two less cops on the street while they are investigating. JOe asks what the choice is. THey could be given command discipline where they ride together patrolling the worst neighborhoods according to Compstats. THey will do this as long as this takes but Frank says can't say that. They say okay. He dismisses them.

The landlord says she has proof of where she was and calls the florist a gossip. She lied because she didn't want to look guilty to them Eddie ralizes the flowers in ehr apartment are from Kyle. Eddie suggests she stop lying. The landlord says it wasn't an affair, just sex. She cut it off when she caught feelings. Kyle went over the edge and wouldn't accept that it was over. He said he was in love with her. She threatened to tell Paulina if they didn't move out.

Sean and Danny have pizza. Sean says say what you have to say. Danny admits he got the report. Sean says didn't I ask you to stay out of this? Danny says the robberies were connected. He's not letting this go Sean is embarrassed. HE comes from a family of cops and can't protect himself. Danny wants Sean to help him set u-p a string and then pick the guy up in a lineup.

Erin has texts between David and Marcus. David didn't mention drugs. SHe wants to talk to the DA. She feels it's too easy to spot and the attorney didn't do his job.

Eddie comes to see Frank and Henry who are having pizza and beer. She says it was six years ago that she and Jamie got engaged They insist they were more happy than concerned. Frank says this is about Jamie and Joe riding together? Eddie says how is this a good idea when they already hate each other? Frank doesn't think that's true. Eddie says Jamie is a straight shooter and says what he means. Frank says yes but Jamie and Joe didn't bond the normal way. They are related by blood and by an awful burden. He says he could come down hard on them instead and make big headlines. Eddie says she's worried Joe will get Jamie hurt. Frank can't worry about every cop's safety every time he makes a decision. He has to think of them as just any two cops.

Instead of doing what Danny said Sean tries to stop the robber himself and gets stabbed.

Danny comes to see Sean in the hospital. What the hell? Sean says he stopped the guy from hurting someone else and anyway he recognized the guy.

Joe and Jamie argue over who gets to drive. Joe heard Jamie broke his father's car. Jamie says a perp cut the brakes. There's a lot Joe doesn't know.

Kyle insists it was more than sex but he didn't harass the landlady. He has been working from home since the pandemic and he got lonely. Badillo tells him to let it go. He can't break it off and how does he explain why they have to leave? Eddie tells him to tell his wife he had an affair. Also they found their belongings in his storage unit. He insists he forgot they had this unit and he didn't do this.

Erin confronts the lawyer .Why didn't he notice this obvious evidence? He says things slip through the cracks. Erin says this is someone's life! She thinks he intentionally overlooked the evidence to help David Rogers, who he played basketball with.at St. Johns.  He asks what she is doing about this. She says she is reporting him to the ethics board after she gets him off this case.

Joe and Jamie get a burglary report. Joe wonders if they should go. Jamie takes the case. Joe tells him not to hit the siren. Jamie knows that. Joe says that some cops hit the siren to make the perp run away so they can go on with their plans. But Reagans are royalty so no one would suggest it to them. Jamie ignores that as they pull up to the scene. Joe scales a fence while Jamie goes around front. The perp tries to run and Joe and Jamie collar him. Jamie says all this over an air fryer. The perp is a kid who says his mom wanted it for her birthfay. Jamie says if the kid's record is clean they might be able to take it easy on them. Joe says maybe we'll buy your mom an air fryer.

Danny goes to the cafeteria and the suspect runs away.  They catch him and he insists he didn't do anything. He says cutting Sean was not part of their plan. He didn't want to do this.

The cop asks how Sean is. Sean confronts him and says that the cop is behind the robberies. The cop says come on, I'm a cop. Danny arrests him.

Badillo and Eddie tell Paulina they arrested Kyle for lying to the cops and fi ling a false police report. She says come on he'll just get a desk appearance ticket. This is not what was supposed to happen SHe wanted to get back at Tina by framing him. Eddie arrests her.

Anthony tells Erin that Marcus got shot outside his apartment. He guesses someone found out that Marcus blamed the drugs on David. He's dead. Erin feels guilty. Anthony says he couldn't serve time for something he didn't do. This is not Erin's fault.

Joe asks if Frank always makes them wait this long. Jamie says yes. Joe looks at a photo of Jamie with his parents. HE asks what his grandmother was like. Jamie says she could have run the United Nations since she raised four kids while serving as ambassador to their father.

Frank comes in and says so he thought putting them together was a good idea. He made friends with kids in dettention as a kid. But he hasn't had a decent's night sleep since. Joe apologizes.  He says they were both off duty during the fight and no one drew weapons or got seriously hurt. THey damaged their reputations.   He tells them to go back to their commands.  Jamie says they can get along. JOe says they won't cause any more trouble. Frank will take their word.

At dinner eveyrone discusses Sean and the guy with the knife. Joe is impressed. Sean says he will leave it to the professionals from now on. Danny says Sean got a date out of it. The girl he was trying to help asked him out.  ERin asks if he wants pointers. Not about women, about bowling. Joe says Erin is a great bowler.  Henry wants him to call and tell them everything.
