Recap

A young woman enters an abandoned building to meet someone. The door is stuck, and someone places a black hood over her.

Angie passed her physical, and Will and Betty came to congratulate her and bring her an ice pack to soothe her aching back. While Angie is excited to see both of them, she wonders why Will is avoiding work and questions if he's talked to any about the explosion yet.

Will is saved from this conversation by getting called into work. He and Amanda arrive at the scene and learn the body is on the second floor. Faith is already up there and found a door knob jammed in the victim's back.

There was also a knife and a box cutter. needles, and many other possible weapons nearby.  The inspector says this place has been derelict since the 90s, and every spot is covered with bodily fluids.

When Will turns the body over, he realizes it's not his blood; there’s barely any blood trickling from his wound, and there is only one other gash on his arm, which didn’t hit anything significant.

Will follows the blood drop patterns and deduces it's not from the victim going up but someone going down. They follow the drops and find another body, an African-American male.

He was shot with a Glock and was wearing a W.W.J.D. bracelet. Next to the body is a woman's purse. They don't find an ID, but Faith finds Folic Acid supplements.

Councilman Carrey wants this case solved quickly since his ribbon-cutting ceremony is in two days.

Will suspects the woman was the intended target and that victim two tried to protect her, but the first man shot the second, and the woman plunged the door knob into the first one to save herself. Will thinks she tried to help the second victim, but it was too late.

When Angie asks Michael about Gina’s affair, he avoids it and says they’re moving forward. He’s really trying. He’s made dinner reservations, bought the kids’ favorite foods, and is dropping the kids off at school more.

Michael arranged a little welcome back for Angie, but the captain already had a dead body waiting at the morgue for them.

Faith tells Amanda the first victim was Dale Sorensen, a trigger for the Death Pistons, and the second victim was Conrad Warren, a Youth Pastor at a nearby church. The young woman, Isabella Oldman, is indeed pregnant, and Will worries there is a hit out on her.

Pete tells Angie and Michael their victim dropped dead in the sauna from cardiac arrest. He never had any health issues, and it appeared he was poisoned with pain meds at the spa. Then, Pete angered Michael when he tried to give him a card for a divorce attorney.

The pastor tells the GBI that Conrad belonged to their church since he was young. Isabella belonged to that church, too. Faith tells the pastor and Conrad's parents they think Conrad died protecting her.

Will talks to Pastor Reggie in the hall, who insists he doesn't know who Isabella's baby daddy is. Will doesn't believe in religion, and the pastor feels for him.

Angie and Michael speak to Teddy's brother, Joel, who joined him at the spa for his birthday. He said they were only in the sauna for 10 minutes. He described his brother as generous but self-absorbed.

After speaking to the choir, Will tells Faith that everyone loved Conrad. He doesn't trust Pastor Reggie and admits he has difficulty understanding faith and religion.

He enters the church and sees the pastor talking closely with a young woman. He goes back outside and keeps remembering Cricket. The pastor appears and invites him back inside.

The pastor explained he was helping that woman and thought he and Will were similar since they both wanted to make a difference and weren't valued as kids.

He thinks trauma affects the way you view the world but reiterates that people are more than bad choices or bad things that were done to them.

When Will returns to Work, Faith informs him that Isabella used to work for the councilman. They confront him, and his wife confirms Isabella interned there the previous summer, but they haven't seen her since then.

Michael and Angie question the spa owner about her refreshments, but then Michael gets distracted by the Elf Goose, a German meditative hydrotherapy ritual. Ted was close to the lead Elf Goose, Wolfgang, and they contemplated opening a sauna franchise.

Faith thinks the councilman is the daddy. Forensics proved that Isabella used the doorknob, the hitman used the gun, and Conrad used the knife. Another set of prints is found on the knife -- Leonard Parker, who was Paster Reggie's old name.

Angie and Michael interview Wolfgang, who is sensitive about others touching his essential oils or rocks. He swears he wouldn't hurt Ted and is Zen about things not working out.

When Michael finds melted plastic on the rocks, he suspects it's from a pain patch, but Wolfgang insists they were going to reevaluate things later since Teddy's dad was dying.

Will and Faith interview Pastor Reggie, who insists he's changed. He finally admits the knife was from the church kitchen, and Conrad took it for protection. Isabella is hidden in the church apartment. Faith promises to try to keep Isabella and the baby together.

The apartment has been trashed when they arrive, and she's gone. They realize the councilman has a connection to the shelter. When they arrive at his place, they hear gunshots. His wife, Erin, shot him. Faith runs after him, and Will enters to find Isabella in labor.

Angie and Michael arrest Tefddy's brother once they realize the pain patches were their fathers.

Will helps to deliver a baby boy while Faith arrests Erin Carrey. Will arranges for the DA to consider Pastor Reggie's years of service. He and Amanda finally talk.
