After last week's episode of Grey's Anatomy, we can't help but be a little nervous about Derek. Right?!?
Below, TV Fanatics Stacy Glanzman, Mary Kate Venedam, Amanda Steinmetz and Ashley Bissette Sumerel discuss amputations and surprises on Grey's Anatomy Season 11 Episode 19.

Was there anything that surprised you about "Crazy Love?"
Stacy: It's hard not to be surprised that someone would go back to the woman who cut off his penis. It's even more surprising that this guy somehow managed to get involved with not one, but TWO women who are capable of doing something like that. He's obviously attracted to crazy.
Mary Kate: I guess that would be the second, uh...amputation?? There was a lot of crazy going on with that story. Even on the Grey's Anatomy scale.
Amanda: Definitely the second penis amputation. This guy really knows how to pick 'em.
Ashley: I was definitely surprised about the "amputation" happening not just once, but twice! But I think was surprised me more was Meredith's reaction to Amelia dating Owen. It's just not what I would have expected.
Is Meredith right to be concerned about Amelia and Owen's relationship?
Stacy: It's not really any of her business. Also, it's kind of a conflict of interest if she's looking out for Owen and Derek is looking out for Amelia (at least, I'd assume he would be). I don't think Owen would really appreciate her getting in the middle of them.
Mary Kate: Yes and No. She obviously is just following what Cristina asked of her. But Amelia was right, Meredith doesn't know her and her and Owen are adults and can make their own decisions regarding their relationships.
Amanda: I understand it in the sense that Meredith's "person" is Cristina, but she really had no business getting involved. Owen and Amelia are adults and can decide their relationship for themselves.
Ashley: I agree that it's not her business, and I also think it's offensive that she's not on Amelia's side here. Amelia is her sister-in-law, and it seems like she'd want her to be happy. When I first saw the previews of Meredith being unhappy, I actually assumed she'd be worried about Amelia and not the other way around.
It looks like Richard and Catherine are getting back together! Is this a good idea?
Stacy: Sure, I like them together. Like they said, more mistakes will probably be made, but no one's perfect and they love each other, so that's what really matters.
Mary Kate: They've been on and off more than most of the other couples on the show. It's cool if they stay together, but I wasn't a fan of the vindictive Richard that he became after they broke up.
Amanda: I honestly don't have much of an opinion on them. I think they are a good match, but it's not going to devastate me if they aren't together.
Ashley: Yes! I think Catherine could be really great for Richard, and he deserves to be happy after all he's been through.
What are your expectations for Meredith and Derek and why do you think he missed his meeting at The White House?
Stacy: I definitely think it has something to do with the girl he kissed, but I don't know what exactly. We know that story line isn't over.
Mary Kate: Meredith and Derek are together, and I can't imagine a series where they are permanently apart, besides death. Something happened. I don't know what, but it seems Grey's is taking a page out of the Scandal book. Let's just hope Derek wasn't taken hostage by terrorists to be put up for auction.
Amanda: I just want all their marital drama to be over! I'm assuming his not showing up for the meeting has something to do with the girl, but you never know. Shonda loves to throw in a life or death scenario, so I wouldn't put it past them to have Derek be in some accident.
Ashley: I'm nervous. I really can't decide if I think it's going to have something to do with the girl, or if it's going to be some tragedy. I just keep picturing this dream Meredith had where Derek was in an accident and died...
Did you have a favorite quote or scene from this episode?
Stacy: I'm giving the MVP of the episode to Alex for his speech to Maggie. That was super adorable and exactly what she needed to hear. Sometimes it's hard to remember what a jerk he used to be. He's come a long way.
Mary Kate: I was a big fan of happy Derek and Meredith at the beginning of the episode with a brief appearance by Amelia and Owen. It's been so unusual to see the Grey-Shepard couple genuinely happy this season. Too bad it didn't last long.
Amanda: I loved Stephanie chasing the crazy woman into the bathroom. I thought for sure she was going to flush the penis down the toilet!
Ashley: April telling off Richard was completely priceless, especially with his reaction of just "Understood!"
Now, I don't know what personal stuff is going on between the two of you exactly, but whatever it is, I will not allow it to compromise my patient, his care, or his penis. And for what it's worth, I think you two are good together. Also Catherine Avery is my mother-in-law, so I'll call her any damn time I feel like it!
