I have nothing but respect for Jack McCoy, but if you subpoena my son, I will bury you. I will pull my support for McCoy and use my immense power to get his opponent elected, and that new DA's first act will be to fire you in a very public and humiliating way.
Mayor Payne
Maroun: At least we know Kelton's guilty.
Nolan: Too bad we can't tell anyone.
Scott: Veronica accused me of raping her. She wanted an apology. I refused. I wasn't going to apologize for something I didn't do. She hit me and after that things happened fast.
Nolan: You're gonna need to do more than that.
Scott: I pushed her and she fell, and she hit her head on a rock or something. She started bleeding and I knew at that moment that my life was over. It was her or me, and no one would ever believe my side of the story. So I choked her.
I hope you know what the hell you're doing. No one gives more to charity than Scott Kelton. He has done so much for this city.

Defense attorney: You have two prior convictions. Is that correct?
Walsh: Yes.
Defense attorney: You were convicted of assault in 2010?
Walsh: Yeah. A guy stole food from my cart, so I hit him.
Defense attorney: And you were convicted of sexual assault in 2019?
Walsh: I took a plea. My ex made the whole thing up. It's not what it looks like.
Defense attorney: It's exactly what it looks like. You were convicted of sexual assault.
Politics play no role in this case. This murder will be tried in a courtroom, not at this press conference.

Doorman: Tell you what Next time I see him I'll sneak up behind him and...
Ripley: Please don't. Leave the police work to the police.
