Park: That's it? It's over?
Morgan: Where's the disaster? I listened to an hour of this. I was promised a disaster. Where's the disaster?
Shaun: It was exhausting. Everything was always out of control. Anything could happen at any time. Anything did. There was too much to remember to do, too much to remember not to do, and none of it made sense. It was hard, uncomfortable, unpleasant. I spent the whole evening doing unnatural things to make her happy and I have no idea if she WAS happy, and I know I wasn't happy! It was all a disaster.
Your greatest strength and your greatest weakness as a leader was your stubbornness. Don't let it be your weakness today.

Park: Fighting cancer takes a lot, and the surgery is usually the easy part.
Ruby: My husband is strong. He's healthy.
Park: He's not. Not mentally. And the burden on you -
Ruby: I am not letting my husband die because caring for him is inconvenient, because I'm going to have to repeat a conversation. Go to hell.
Nurse: Dr. Lim, I'm glad you made that decision on the overtime, but I thought you'd want to know the real issue isn't the overtime. It's being understaffed. We need two more nurses on this floor alone, one in ICU...
Lim: I'm sorry. I'm sure you're right, but we just don't have the budget.
Nurse: Oh. [walks away]
Lim: Excuse me?
Nurse: Nothing, ma'am.
Lim: I gave you the OT. You're not being fair.
Nurse: Aren't I? You told me I was right and you told me you're not going to do it. Who's being unfair?
Claire: You have to learn how to do this, and stalling just makes it worse. You know what I think? I think you don't want to think about your date and you're subconsciously burying yourself in things you think you can control.
Shaun: How does anyone know what's in someone's subconscious?
Harvey: Cancer? I have cancer?
Park: We'll do a biopsy to confirm but I'm confident we caught it early.
Harvey: We'll have to tell the children. This is terrible. [to his wife] I can't die. You need me.
Park: I don't mind staying late now and again it's my job.
Morgan: Stop it.
Park: You don't want this case. It's boring. I get it
Morgan: I know you get it. Boring is now exciting. Boring means it's a routine surgery, which means it's a surgery that Lim just said one of us might lead.
Park: This one's probably no surgery at all. It's probably kidney stones, which means a lot of late nights with a man with dementia.
Lim: What are you writing?
HR: I have accepted your explanation and report.
Lim: Thank you.
HR: But I don't believe it. You are going to keep seeing each other and I can't do anything to stop that, nor do I want to. But know this. Love doesn't conquer all and lust doesn't either, and like doesn't even begin to cover it.
Morgan: Not it.
Parks: What?
Morgan: He's got dementia and even worse...it's boring. Probably stones and worst case scenario, it's a kidney tumor and we've assisted on eight nephrectomies You're primary.
Parks: Kellan's coming to town and I need to be out of here at a decent hour, and we are not children and do not decide things by who called it. [pause] You touched the chart first, it's yours.
Shaun: It was a disaster.
Parks: Why, what happened?
[Lim comes in]
Lim: Why aren't you working?
Parks: Shaun had a date.
Morgan: Congratulations on your promotion. I believe you are our first female Chief of Surgery.
Lim: That's true. I still want you to get to work. [to Melendez] Not you. We have to go to HR and break up.
Shaun: Why are you smiling?
Carly: I don't know. I wanted you to know things are okay.
Shaun: Good.
[After consulting a card with a topic list]
Shaun: I saw a movie last night.
Carly: Was it good? What kind of movies do you like?
[Waiter brings dishes]
Shaun: I said no pickles.
Carly: It's okay.
Shaun: I said no pickles!
Waiter: We can bring you another one.
Shaun: I SAID NO PICKLES!
