Growing up, I never shared genetic traits with anyone I knew. And when we had kids I couldn't wait to see what they got from me. Would they have cute ears, roll their tongues? Anxiety and panic attacks are the things about me I like the least, and I passed it on to her. I hate that I gave this to her.

STOP! I have been planning this for weeks so that it would be perfect. Because this is where we live now, and this is where we move forward, where we talk over napkins and placemats and eat Cornish hens. And it doesn't matter that I couldn't find my pot and I burned the Cornish hens or that all I got of your wedding was Polaroids, because I am doing my best and this is what we have to work towards. So pull yourselves together, pretend you like burnt, raw food and get your whiny little asses back in those seats and enjoy my damn dinner!

Beth [coming in]: I came from the studio as soon as I could. You okay, baby?
Randall: Yeah, she's okay. The nurse said she had a little trouble breathing, heart rate elevated. It was probably a panic attack.
Beth: Is that what happened? You're feeling a little anxious?
Tess: I don't know.
Randall: It makes sense. I mean new school, new friends, you have a lot on your plate.
Tess: Stop it! Stop saying I'm like you! I don't want to be anything like you!
Rebecca: I hope the salmon wasn't too chewy.
Beth: It was fine.
Randall: It's okay if you don't like salmon. Or you're allergic. Cause I totally forgot to ask about dietary restrictions.
Kevin: So what was it like growing up with my dad. Tell me a story about him.
Nicky: He liked ice cream.
