Flashback to Ray testing his suit and the entire thing exploding. Why don't I remember it being like that?

Thea, Oliver and Alex are going over mayorly strategy. Afterward, Alex asks Thea if she wants to check out Gerard's tomorrow night to see if it's the right spot for their campaigning. She says it's not the right time. He wants to erase the last five minutes. She doesn't want to. They part.

Felicity is listening to Ray say "I'm alive, and I'm in trouble," over and over again. She's a little manic, and Curtis is worried about her. Curtis looks at Oliver with his hand over his hand covering his eyes when he arrives to see if he's the Green Arrow. Nope. The jaw is wrong.

Meanwhile, Felicity still hasn't told Oliver about Ray being alive. She does it with the message.

Flashback. The dude is using a red ball to read a message on the way in the cave. It will lead to a body of water in a cove which is his "gift."

At the Laurel's place, Sara is getting off the phone with her mom. They're a happy family. 

Felicity and Oliver are arguing just a bit over Oliver's inability to care as much about Ray's being alive as Felicity. Ray finally reached Felicity. He's miniaturized, in a plexiglass box on a desk. Whoops.

Felicity takes total control over the situation, and Oliver is frustrated there is no way he can help. Felicity won't even allow him to tag along. He's dead weight.

Flashback. People are looking for water.

Felicity keeps comparing Ray to food stuff. Tater tots, cheetos. As she's trying to figure things out, there is an odd screech, and it's her mother. Felicity is surprised to hear Oliver agreed it was right that she should come to visit.

The team is out in the field at Kord Industries to get a part for Felicity and they're all listening to the couple of the hour argue. Felicity dubs Oliver Chatty Cathy. 

Sara kind of goes a little nuts on one of the security guards. Whoops.

While Felicity is talking to Ray, she gets to see who is holding him when Damien Dark pops his big ol' head into the frame.

Oliver and Diggle don't seem to be taking the fact that Ray's life is in jeopardy to heart. Oliver's cooking dinner for Donna. Felicity is freaking out.

Flashback. Oliver is talking to the woman. Has she ever seen Ryder doing anything magical or mystical?

Damien and Ray are chatting. Everything must be so loud. 

Donna and Felicity are waiting for Oliver. Oliver didn't cook. Donna tried. But it didn't work. Donna decides to go get takeout. 

Felicity informs Oliver was so swept up with him that she missed all of Ray's distress calls. But that's not who she is and she doesn't know what it means.

Back at the cave, Oliver wonders why he chose him. He can't do anything she does. Diggle reassures him.

Lance and Diggle put something into play with Damien.

Donna and Felicity talk about space camp when she was a little girl. Felicity is worried about losing herself in Oliver. Donna assures her that's how it's supposed to be and they'll find themselves in each other. 

The team readies to save Ray and the Canaries are going out together again.

Oliver has been captured by Damien, but it's all part of the plan. 

Curtis and Felicity are getting ready to base jump off the top of a building to meet Diggle. Damn.

Canary is shooting a gun! Nice.

While Felicity and Curtis rescued Ray, Sara continued her killing spree. Whoops. 

Ray assures Felicity that until he comes back from the dead, Palmer Tech is her company.

Sara tells Laurel she's going to handle the bloodlust differently than Thea. She's going to take her second chance to Central City to visit mom for a while and then off to do something else. 

Donna and Quentin finally meet.
