Augie's condition is getting worse and the liver specialist says that he needs a transplant ASAP or he's going to die. He is experiencing confusion as well as jaundice and oxygenation issues.

Sharon helps Maggie find a donor, but the donor has a liver condition that could kill Augie years from now. Maggie wants to do it anyway, but DCFS nixes the surgery at the last minute because of the liver being compromised and says only a family member can consent. Elsewhere, the kidnap victim April recently saved comes into the ED after a possible suicide attempt, while Charles is upset to learn that Anna is pregnant.
