Chicago Med Season 6 Episode 5 revolves around letting go.

When a doctor Noah admires is brought into the hospital, he and Marcel quickly learn that the man's injuries were not brought on by a gas leak. He had a lot of benzos in his system and it turns out his wife, who supposedly died in the same accident, had ALS. Dr. Coleman's plan was to euthanize her and kill himself as well, except he managed to live.

Choi wants to report it to the police. Noah does not. Later, Noah "accidentally" leaves a loaded syringe in Coleman's presence and Coleman uses it to kill himself. Choi says he knows Noah did it on purpose. He's going to turn him in.

April begs Choi not to, but he doesn't want to listen.

Meanwhile, Nat struggles with whether or not to be with Marcel given his reputation, while Maggie has a hard time finding any of Augie's relatives to donate a liver, but keeps insisting she's fine.

And finally, Dr. Charles decides to hire a lawyer after his ex-wife won't budge about taking Anna out of state, while Anna has a secret of her own.
