Higgins is listening to opera and working on her computer when she hears noises upstairs. It's a golf ball because it came through. He's getting golf lessons.

Higgins confronts Magnum about his golf lessons.

Magnum gets a visit from Luther. He's got a case for Magnum to square him up on a poker bet. Luther is a P.I., too.

Magnum visits the man for the case. Tara had reconstructive surgery and the husband wants him to investigate. Magnum takes on Mr. Crawford's case.

Magnum meets up with Rick who has a friend to get him more information. He goes into Higgins' study to use her computer for a background check on Tara. Higgins takes over and finds that Tara is using someone else's identity.

Magnum shares the information he found about Tara and asks questions about her and if she's changed at all. The husband gives a history of how they met.

Tara had a tattoo removed from her hand and Magnum uses a friend to get into a tattoo removal doctor's file and goes snooping. He finds information about a robbery/homicide open case.

Magnum visits the jewelry store that was robbed to talk to the owner/dad of the deceased.

Higgins is with the golf guru and golf guru realizes Higgins is helping Magnum and thinks it's great!

Higgins meets up with Magnum to give him information she found. They go to talk to someone and find out even more clues. These two are on the case!

Magnum breaks into someone's house and Higgins follows along. Magnum finds cards in the vacuum. They visit a little girl who identifies Tara as her mom.

Magnum meets back with the husband and tells him what he discovered. Magnum tries to reassure the husband that there's more to this case but the husband wants him to end the investigation and pays him.

Rick finds Magnum and gives him an envelope with the entire case file. Rick brings up Hannah, something from Magnum's past. Magnum digs into the envelope from the guy at the police department. He's still intrigued by the case and tells Rick he thinks someone else was involved.

Higgins and Magnum visit the little girl again. They want to talk to a woman about Tara/Emily. They look around Emily's room to see if they can find anything that will point to the other person who might be involved in the murder.

Magnum makes a connection and goes back to the jewelry store and makes Higgins stay with Emily's mom. It's a conundrum so he calls Katsumoto who's on his way to Tara who apparently has woken up.

Magnum is caught in traffic when TC shows up in the chopper.

Tara shows up at her mom's house with her boyfriend from the jewelry store. he's got a gun and Higgins figures out a way to get Harper to safety.

Higgins calls Magnum to tell him what's going on. Magnum and Katsumoto are on their way. Higgins comes out and identifies herself as the nanny with the phone on so Magnum and Katsumoto can hear what's going on.

The boyfriend orders Higgins to pry open the step to get the stolen jewels as Magnum and Katsumoto arrive on the scene.

The boyfriend takes Emily with him but when he pens the door Katsumoto and Magnum are waiting for him. he goes back in and Higgins tries to defuse the situation. Magnum comes in the back way and a chase ensues. Magnum catches the guy and calls Higgins to tell her.

Emily reunites with her daughter. The husband shows up. he still cares. Magnum pays Luther a little bit who complains about him solving the case too soon.

Magnum is golfing again towards the house. Higgins confronts him again. She's giving him a lesson!!
