Blue Bloods Season 13 Episode 15 revolves around dangerous missions.

Danny is chosen to help Waylon Gates transport a cartel boss to New York for his arraignment. Baez wants to join but is not allowed to.

Gates and Danny bond while taking the perp across state lines, in between dealing with threats. First, the cartel tries to follow them. Danny quickly puts a stop to that and takes the perp to a motel. While Danny and Gates are watching TV, someone breaks in, leading to a shootout. Danny realizes that someone on the team is reporting to the cartel.

The cartel boss tries to bribe Danny and Gates, which doesn't work. After he is moved to a new safehouse, Gates plants false info to try to catch the mole, resulting in the rogue agent's death. The cartel boss has one last, desperate move: he sends photos of Jack and Nicky and implies they will be hurt if he's not released.

Gates offers to assassinate the perp, but Danny won't allow him to do that.

Meanwhile, Jamie is upset that Frank denies his request for a similarly dangerous mission and Erin tries to prove that a basketball player committed rape.
