When her mom died she was alone and that's when she met Owen. Lim says it's hard but necessary for the nurse to leave Owen.

The brain tumor needs to be removed. Andrews argues the kidneys should be first. Morgan agrees and says they have a technique that will help the kid recover. Claire says if there's a chance the kid can play soccer she wants to take it. Kidneys today, brain tomorrow.

Lea picks a dress. Jordan wonders if it really fits Lea's personality. Lea says this more than just their wedding.

Park and Morgan have a veiled argument about the breadmaker. Asher and Jerome also had an argument over whether they should wear matching suits. The kid starts crashing. They need to take the kidney. Claire calls them to stop. She is able to resolve the issue without having to remove the kidney.

Lim tells Claire that Guatemala has turned her into a 5 of the hardass scale. But she doesn't think Claire is ready to be chief. They shouldn't have gone with kidneys first. Claire says she is considering quality of life. Lim tells her her nurse is having problems. Claire says she always admired Lim, but she's not sure she does anymore.

Nurse Villanova decides to give Lim her resignation as she can't make herself call the shelter.

Shaun is getting his wedding suit fitted while talking about his plan for the brain surgery. He begins freaking out. They get called in to the hospital. Lim says the kid has a bleed in his brain. The little boy is scared. Claire hugs him.

The boy wakes up after the operation. Claire gives him a soccer ball.

Claire tells Shaun she's happy and sad. She's happy for him and how far he's come and sad because she misses him. He missed her too. They hug. He needs to go. He's getting married in five hours and doesn't know what he's going to wear.
